Founders
Our company was founded by Nicola Mortimer and Rich Grant in 2012:
- Nicola Mortimer (Development Director) is an expert in the onshore renewables sector, with over 11 years experience in developing and planning onshore renewables projects in a variety of challenging environments. Nicola has managed the successful development of nearly 50MW of approved capacity totalling 27 turbines in the UK. These include complex locations such as airports, quarries and chemical factories, some of which were UK firsts.
- Rich Grant (Commercial & Technical Director) has over 15 years experience working in a variety of technical engineering and commercial roles, including bespoke software, hardware and systems development. Working in a variety of market sectors, including renewables, he is able to provide Purple Renewables with it’s technical know-how in supporting customers with bespoke systems design and integration, data warehousing, geospatial and engineering/operations related queries.
Consultant Partners
We draw further knowledge and experience from an extensive network of consultants who work for us on an ad-hoc basis, many of whom are experts in their field. We have built up these relationships for nearly 20 years, from ecology to specialist legal counsel/advocates, and we are confident our high quality supply chain can resolve the most complex of challenges and project activities.
